Procurement & Logistics Intern

Dar es salaam, Tanzania

The purpose of this job is to oversee procurement processes, Store management and Logistics  to ensure strict adherence to  policies, procedures and value for money.


Procurement of goods and services from different Vendors.

To Ensure timely delivery of goods and Services to our Customers.

Facilitate the quality and quantity control of procured goods and services as per specifications and arrangements set out in the Requisitions, Purchase Orders or Contracts

Assist in preparing Purchase Orders for final payment

Assist in receiving goods that have been purchased and arrange for the appropriate storage or Delivery

Assist with Periodic stock taking, Inventory and Reconciliation of all assets and properties and ensuring that they are tagged.

Implementing and enforcement of Procurement and Stores regulations, policies systems and procedures.

Warehouse security safety and cleanliness

Updating procurement status report.

Preparation and maintenance of stores records.

Filing of various documents including quotations, minutes and contracts

Perform other related duties and activities as instructed by the supervisor.

Report writing

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Analytical and attention to details

Good coordination, problem solving and networking skills

A self starter able to work with little supervision

Excellent computer skills


Bachelors' degree in Procurement, Logistics or any other relevant field.

Minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience in similar positions
